The leader can also mute or hang-up on callers, if necessary, and put them into sub-conferences using the online Conference Viewer.

The most important moderator controls available from our Live Conference Viewer web interface are available and duplicated using your telephone keypad.

If you are holding a conference call on the road from your cell phone, you will still be able to control the conference call using keypad commands.

Using the Live Conference Viewer -a free feature

What is the live conference viewer?

The live conference viewer is a web application that you can use when hosting Canada or US conference calls. It provides you with a real-time display of your audio conference, listing each participant's phone number and status as well as providing you with a user-friendly interface for performing various commands.

You'll still use a phone or mobile phone to dial into your conference calls. However, by opening the live conference viewer on your computer during your conferences, you'll be able to perform various functions without having to use with your phone's keypad if inconvenient.

What can you do with the live conference viewer?

As your call gets underway, you'll see participants "joining" the conference. The conference viewer displays their phone numbers based on Caller ID, and may also list their names and / or company names. You'll see how many minutes each participant has been on the call as well as a total participant count. All of this information is live and updated in real-time.

There's more to the live conference viewer than simply viewing information. For example, is a particular connection particularly noisy? Instead of potentially embarrassing an attendee for a distracting connection or unmuted line, you can use the live conference viewer to subtly and effectively mute the offending phone line.

You can also disconnect callers, join other participants, switch to and from lecture mode, break the conference call into a set of smaller sub-conference calls, and record your audio conferences in MP3 format - all with just a mouse-click. You can also save or print your participant list.
