Get your attendees on your call even if they are
located in exotic, remote countries.
Reason 1
If there is no access number in the participant's country
The chairperson can use the dial-out option to
add attendees to a call if the conference call attendee is located in a region that does not have toll-free or
local access numbers.
If this is the situation, the moderator of the call simply uses the included dial-out option to add that participant
to the call instantly using the phone keypad command
[* 1]
Reason 2
Chairperson gains control
The chairperson may want to add a
participant to a phone meeting quickly without waiting for the guest to dial-in.
Or may want to add a participant to the call at a certain point during the conference instead of from the start of the call.
Using the dial-out feature does not involve your local phone company or long distance carrier because the call is routed internally through your conferencing
account.
Optionally
Use the 24 hour operator
This service includes 24/7 U.S. based operator support.
Enter keypad command [* 0] to reach the operator
anytime during the call. Ask to have the attendee added to your call. Provide your account credentials plus the
phone number of your attendee.
Other Dial Out Uses
Fetch a job interview candidate
with dial-out
A common use for using dial-out is to bring a third party into a meeting after others have had a pre-conference
for a job candidate interview.
Have a pre-conference
Conference with your primary attendees and then at the appropriate time, use the dial-out feature to add a guest
to your call.
Reduce Costs
Some customers prefer to use the dial-out option because many
times the dial-out rate can be lower than the toll-free access rate. This depends
on the country location of your call invitee.

Customer Inquiry
"We need to host a conference call with five participants
located in the U.S., one in Tanzania, one in Nairobi, Kenya and one in Haiti. Eight people total including the
host.
I do not see Tanzania or Haiti on the toll-free access list. Is it possible to get all of these participants on
one call?"
Answer
Yes it is. The U.S. and Nairobi, Kenya attendees will enter the call using the supplied U.S. and Kenya access numbers.
The Tanzania and Haiti attendees are added to the call by the call leader using the dial-out feature.
How to dial-out
Dial [ * 1 ] you will hear a voice prompt asking you to enter the international phone number you
wish to call.
Now dial the Tanzania phone number. When the called party answers, enter [ * 1 ] again to add that caller to your meeting.
Now do the same thing for the Haiti attendee.
The dial-out guest simply answers the inbound call and is immediately joined to your conference call.
