Number Portability
The Seattle area (like most major metropolitan
areas) is covered by several area codes. I recently moved from the city of Seattle to Edmonds (north of the county
line)...a total distance of about 5 miles. Even though it was a reletively short distance, I could not take my
phone number with me because I was moving into a different area code. Fortunately, I was able to get my number
ported to Packet 8 before I moved, so taking my number with me was simple. All I had to do was plug my Packet 8
adaptor into the Internet connection at my new home and my old number still worked. This is a powerful feature.
Because of this great service, I will never have to change my phone number again.

I just read my first Packet8 newsletter and was
very impressed... almost as impressed as I am with your service. I recently turned my part-time freelance communications
work into a full-time endeavor, and I signed up with Packet8 anticipating having to spend considerable more time
on the phone. After looking into "unlimited" service from my conventional telephone provider, Verizon,
I decided to go with a more cost-effective VoIP service. I chose you because of the price and because of favorable
reviews that I read.
My satisfaction with your service and your company
is off the scales! The installation was effortless, the service has been flawless (although I haven't tried faxing
yet), and the price is a steal. I also was impressed when one of your customer service reps called me a week or
two after activation to see how I liked Packet8. I normally hang up on solicitation calls, but I think I gave her
more time than she bargained for when I started gushing about how thrilled I am with your company.
I've become such a big fan of Packet8, in fact,
that I've been trying to talk relatives into signing up for broadband service just so they can take advantage of
your services. And I'm offering my own services to you as a beta tester. Bear in mind that a huge chunk of my freelance

Saves a Lot of Time and Hassle
I love Packet8! I've had the service for over a

The feature I love the most is call forwarding! I forward my calls to my cell phone, so that no matter where I

Working Fine
A friend of mine and I were hiking last week and
he recounted how he has been trying to get Vonage to work via his Cable Modem (he is in the Los Gatos Mountains,
so the Cable Modem service is somewhat suspect.
He had spent a good part of a year trying to make
Vonage work, but to no avail. He spent hours on the phone with their tech support, but still he had problems making
a reliable call.
I had told him about how well Packet8 worked and
he finally tried it a few weeks ago. He had one minor glitch (I think he had to do a router firmware upgrade),
but everything else has been working fine. He was very pleased with the technician and the support he provided.

I just want to tell you about pleasant customer
service reps you have. We finally got our Packet 8 service back up and running last night. Jason called our house
twice and worked with us to get things working again. Two nights ago it was Frances. She worked over an hour trying
to solve the problem. Both Frances and Jason were very professional and patient to work with us. I haven't talked
to a customer service rep who hasn't been courteous and helpful. My hats off to the whole team there at 8x8. Keep

Head and Shoulders Above the Competition
I have been a packet 8 customer for about 4 months
now and I must say I am a very satisfied customer. I am somewhat of a gadget freak, so I love watching new technology
emerge and develop as it comes to market. I have read the financial reports of EGHT and am impressed by the age
of this company as it started in 1987. I only recently was made aware (past 6 months or so) that the VOIP had come
to fruition and the technology had matured enough for it to be a true contender with "ma bell" and other
POTS services. How did I become aware of this technology's maturity, you may ask? Vonage! Which brings me to the

"I travel a lot and always stay at hotels with broadband. Most of these hotels charge up to $1.00 per outgoing
call. I have a second line at home with Packet8. I take the Packet8 equipment, a small router with me and plug

An Ode to Packet8 VideoPhone
I live in Michigan. And I just hung up with my parents.
Who live in Florida. They re looking well. How do I know? I saw them on my Packet8 DV-326 VideoPhone Bought mine
(and theirs) so my two-year-old could see Nana and Poppy from 1,200 miles away Great thing, technology.
VoIP looks like it s about to be huge. Everyone
s heard of Vonage. But Vonage doesn t offer video. Plus, they re more expensive. Skype is gaining some stick. But
Skype is too demanding. You need a computer to use it. You guys have the complete package.
