features a built-in GSM phone, so you can take advantage of the low airtime rates available on typical GSM networks.
Once outside of a covered area, simply switch the phone back to satellite mode to resume Satellite coverage.
Please note that the phone can only operate in one mode (GSM or Satellite) at a time.
Airtime is prepaid and may be purchase in advance but does expire once loaded.
